A 6AM start last Sunday to capture the sunrise and the forcast fog in my part of the world. The weather didn’t disappoint as standing on Wallingford Bridge the fog materialised quite substantially making focusing for the first few shots impossible.
It always astounds me just how much detail you can extract from a RAW image. This shot gives the impression of being taken much later than it actually was; it was still quite dark with just the mearest suspision of sunrise making it through the fog. The image has been given some dousing in Photoshop initially Topaz Denoise and then a ‘French Countryside’ filter in Topaz Adjust. I rather like the dreamy effect.
