Its tricky enough taking photographs of the food while in a restaurant – poor ‘atmospheric’ lighting (often of mixed sources), rooted to the chair and tripod-less. When gifted with a view of the kitchen the problems magnify – the hussle and constant action might offer dynamic oppotunities but the movement, the distance and so on make it so much harder to capture something decent. This little gallery is my ‘effort’ taken yesterday evening at the Montagu Restaurant, Hyatt Regency Hotel at the bottom of Baker Street, Central London. The reason for the visit was to sample the new tapas range of food and try them against a range of wines from Bodegas LAN.
